Major Take-A-Ways:
|
The Keystone Library was the project given for 3.1.1. This project was primarily done on AutoDesk, but there was also a large amount of paper work that was done to be put in the project binder. The existing building had been an industrial building and had been vacant for many years. The town now wanted to use this building, and make it into a fully functioning public library. We were given constraints, as well as, codes to follow to insure the library met all requirements given. We used the prior file given on revit to start our building, and then added a lounge area/ green roof to the prior building walls that had existed. This project had taught me how to work with someone else to complete a project successfully, as well as, understand the process that goes into remodeling a building into a properly built library.

Below are documents that I had put in my project binder for the Keystone Library. There are 3.2.6 Beam Design calculations. This activity was a large portion of the engineering calculations needed for this project. There is also the project description given describing the project, and the design features.
